Woodbridge is a large suburban community in Vaughan, Ontario, which used to be its own village until being incorporated in 1971. It is named after a town in England, but was given the name “Woodbridge” due to the many bridges that stretch over the Humber River in its area. Kortright Centre for Conservation – Since 1982, the Kortright Centre for Conservation has promoted the field of sustainable technology in Woodbridge. The centre hosts Canada’s largest educational demonstrations of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies.

The Historic Wallace House – Built in 1873, the Historic Wallace House is considered a structure of cultural significance within the Woodbridge community. The committee that maintains the house runs regular programming and community events throughout the year.

Woodbridge Fair – For over a century, the Woodbridge Fair has been put on by dedicated volunteers to promote and teach the agricultural heritage of Woodbridge. The fair hosts thousands of families and hundreds of vendors annually from all over Ontario.
